After imposing a condition not to leave Barcelona, Marc Casadó is now in Real Betis’ sights

Real Betis have entered the race for Marc Casadó, with the midfielder emerging as a late-market target. According to Sport, Manuel Pellegrini’s side is monitoring the 21-year-old and could push for a deal valued at around €30 million (R$190 million).

Barcelona’s Stance and Betis’ Options

Barcelona president Joan Laporta values Casadó above Betis’ expectations, making a permanent transfer unlikely. Instead, a loan deal is seen as the most realistic option should negotiations move forward.

Despite the interest, Casadó has rejected multiple offers, including approaches from a Spanish rival and Premier League side Tottenham, signaling his desire to continue his development at Barcelona.

Casadó’s Ultimatum to Hansi Flick

The young midfielder has been clear with the coaching staff: he will only stay if he receives guaranteed minutes. After a season in which he contributed to Barcelona’s title-winning campaign, Casadó believes he is ready for regular La Liga action.

For now, new coach Hansi Flick counts on him as part of his rotation and values his versatility in midfield. Casadó, wearing the number 17 shirt, is eager to establish himself in the first team and debut in La Liga.
