Real Madrid Open to Selling Vinícius Júnior to Liverpool for €150 Million

Real Madrid are reportedly willing to negotiate the sale of Vinícius Júnior this summer, with the Spanish giants setting a price tag of €150 million for the Brazilian winger. According to Fichajes, Liverpool have shown strong interest in the 25-year-old, who is yet to sign a contract extension with Los Blancos.
Vinícius remains under contract at the Santiago Bernabéu until June 2027, but talks over a renewal have stalled. The forward is said to be demanding a new salary of nearly €30 million per year, a figure that has created hesitation within the club’s hierarchy.
Although the Brazilian did not have a standout season by his standards, he still delivered respectable individual performances. However, Real Madrid’s early exit from the FIFA Club World Cup, following a 4–0 semi-final defeat to PSG, reportedly lowered the player’s stock with new manager Xabi Alonso. Vinícius scored just once and provided one assist in six appearances during the tournament.
Liverpool Ready to Bid
Liverpool are believed to be seriously considering an offer in the region of €130 million, structured as €100 million in fixed payments and €30 million in performance-related add-ons. The Anfield club have already made major investments this window, including the high-profile signing of Florian Wirtz, and are also monitoring Rodrygo and Alexander Isak as part of their attacking rebuild.
If the Reds meet Real Madrid’s valuation, Vinícius’s departure could finance a move for Luis Díaz, who remains a long-term target for the Spanish club.
Other Potential Departures
In addition to Vinícius, Fran García could also leave the Spanish capital this summer. AC Milan are reportedly leading the race for the young left-back, and Real Madrid are awaiting formal offers before making a final decision.
Meanwhile, Rodrygo has drawn attention from multiple clubs, and recently made headlines by posting a cryptic message on social media amid uncertainty over his role in Xabi Alonso’s system.
Uncertain Future
Despite speculation, Vinícius Júnior continues to be one of the most marketable and dynamic wingers in world football. While Real Madrid are open to selling him under the right financial conditions, his future remains uncertain as Liverpool and other European giants weigh their options in what could become one of the biggest transfers of the summer.
