After announcing Rashford, Barcelona wastes no time and agrees to sell Pau Víctor to Braga

Catalan club shifts focus to squad outgoings as Portuguese side prepares record signing
Fresh off unveiling Marcus Rashford as their marquee signing for the upcoming season, FC Barcelona has quickly moved to finalize another piece of business this time on the outgoing front. The club has agreed to sell young forward Pau Víctor to Portuguese side Braga in a deal worth up to €15 million.
Pau Víctor Becomes Braga’s Record Signing
According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Pau Víctor will leave Barcelona after two seasons, having initially joined from Girona for €2.7 million. The 23-year-old has now been sold for €12 million, with €3 million in potential performance-related bonuses, making him the most expensive acquisition in Braga’s history.
An official announcement is expected shortly, with the player set to become Braga’s eighth signing of the summer. He joins a squad that already features former Corinthians players Gabriel Moscardo, Fran Navarro, and Dorgeles.
Barcelona Shifts Focus to Sales
After spending €38 million this transfer window, Barcelona’s sporting director Deco has remained in Europe to finalize multiple outgoing deals. The club is prioritizing the sale of players who are not part of Hansi Flick’s plans for the 2025/26 season.
Barcelona hopes to generate revenue while maintaining squad depth following key arrivals, including Rashford.
Pau Víctor’s Time at Barça
Originally signed for Barcelona B, Pau Víctor earned promotion to the senior squad under Flick and contributed during a successful season that saw Barça win La Liga and the Copa del Rey.
The striker made 29 appearances, scoring two goals and providing one assist a modest tally, but one that helped him gain valuable experience in top-flight football.
With his departure, Víctor is expected to take on a starting role at Braga, where regular minutes could be crucial for his development.
