Xabi Alonso’s presentation at Real Madrid has already been scheduled
New era at the Spanish giant is about to begin

It continues to be the worst kept secret in Spanish football and there is even a date for it to stop being so.
According to the Madrid press, the presentation of Xabi Alonso as Real ‘s new coach already has a set date: Tuesday, the 27th.
The season is set to end next Saturday, which will coincide with Carlo Ancelotti’s retirement at Real Madrid. The Italian coach will be leaving after four seasons to become Brazil’s first foreign coach.
And three days later, a new era will begin at the Santiago Bernabéu, with Xabi Alonso as the new leader of the Merengues.
The former Spanish international midfielder, at the age of 43, returns to a home that was his for five seasons as a player, plus one as coach of the under-15 team.
He now returns to sign a three-year contract and respond to an unusual year at the club in the Spanish capital: with zero titles!
With no time to waste, Alonso will take charge of the team immediately, with an eye on the Club World Cup that will be held in the USA, scheduled to start on June 14, a competition in which Real Madrid will play the group stage against Salzburg, Pachuca and Al Hilal.
