Dani Olmo scores from the penalty spot in injury time

Barcelona beat Athletic Bilbao 3-0 this Sunday in the 38th round of the Spanish Championship. With the title already in hand, Hansi Flick’s team scored twice with Lewandowski and extended their lead with Dani Olmo. The teams close the 24/25 LaLiga with Barça in first place, with 88 points, and Bilbao in fourth, with 70 points and a guaranteed place in the next Champions League.

Robert Lewandowski said goodbye to LaLiga by repeating what he did most during the competition: scoring goals. The Pole scored the visitors’ first two goals. In a match dominated by Barcelona, Fermín López made a run through the middle in the 13th minute and passed to Lewa at the edge of the penalty area. The number 9 chipped the ball over the goalkeeper to open the scoring.
Just four minutes later, Raphinha took a corner from the left and sent a closed ball into the area. Lewandowski appeared free in front of goal and just headed it in.
The center forward ends the 24/25 season with 42 goals in 52 appearances for Barça, 27 of which were in LaLiga.

Barcelona closed the scoring in the last minute of injury time. Dani Olomo, who came on in the 18th minute, received a through ball from Eric García and shot towards goal, only to be brought down by Berchiche on the edge of the area. The referee awarded the penalty after reviewing the incident using VAR, and the number 20 himself converted.
