Bayern Munich beats Heidenheim and opens nine points to Leverkusen
After being eliminated from the Champions League, the Bavarian team reacts well in the Bundesliga and puts pressure on its rival, who will play on Sunday

Days after being eliminated from the Champions League, Bayern Munich reacted well and won the Bundesliga. The Bavarian team achieved another big score in the competition by beating Heidenheim 4-0 this Saturday, away from home. Harry Kane scored once again, and Laimer, Coman and Kimmich also found the net.
The win means Bayern are even more comfortable at the top of the Bundesliga, having now reached 72 points and opened up a nine-point gap over Bayer Leverkusen, who have 63. The current champions will still be under pressure on Sunday, as they face St. Pauli away from home. At the end of the round, there will be four games left until the end of the Bundesliga.
Kane opened the scoring in the 13th minute of the game, after receiving the ball from Olise, turning and shooting hard. Seven minutes later, Laimer came face to face with the goalkeeper, shot with precision and extended the lead. The third goal came in the first half, in the 36th minute, with Coman shooting across goal, and Guerreiro closed the scoring in the 11th minute of the second half.
With the goal, Kane has now scored 24 goals in the Bundesliga this season, as well as providing eight assists. The Englishman has now scored 36 goals in 43 matches in the 2024/25 season for Bayern.
