THE GAME
The first half of Aston Villa vs Ipswich was controlled by the home team. In an attempt to break through the defense of the second-bottom team, Villa pressed and failed to score. In the final minutes of the first half, Ipswich lost Tuanzebe, who received a second yellow card and was sent off. Morgan Rogers still had a clear chance to score the first.
Villa’s pressure for an equaliser continued in the second half. The team brought on more attacking players, including new signings Asencio and Rashford.
