HOW WAS THE GAME?
Dinamo had a big task ahead of them on Wednesday. In 26th place, the Zagreb club needed to win and still count on the poor results of the teams above them. The team did its part and took the lead in the 18th minute. Defender Gabbia made a mistake in controlling the ball near the area, and Baturina stole the ball to score the goal. The partial victory until half-time put the Croatian club in the playoffs.
In the 38th minute of the second half, Dynamo’s hopes were boosted by the sending off of Mush, who received a second yellow card. Despite being outnumbered, eight minutes after the break, Milan equalized. Pulisic received the ball inside the box, pulled it to the right and shot into the corner of goalkeeper Nevistic’s goal . Zagreb’s comeback came in the 14th minute, after a beautiful exchange of passes that reached Pierre-Gabriel. The full-back picked up the ball on the left, crossed into the box and saw Pjaca control it and secure the victory.
