DAZN to broadcast Club World Cup for free
On the eve of the 2025 Club World Cup draw, FIFA announced the television partner for the event that will take place in the United States.
DAZN will provide free-to-air coverage of the new competition, which will feature 32 teams from June 15 to July 13, 2025.
The agreement, described as “historic” by FIFA, will see all 63 matches “streamed live and free of charge on DAZN worldwide. “With this agreement, billions of football fans around the world will be able to watch the most accessible club football tournament ever for free,” said FIFA President Gianni Infantino.
“FIFA wanted to have the world’s 32 best clubs compete in an inclusive and merit-based tournament to crown the official ‘FIFA Club World Champion’. It was therefore imperative for FIFA to ensure that as many football fans around the world as possible could follow the action, and this agreement with DAZN ensures that, in terms of broadcasting, the new FIFA Club World Cup will be the most accessible club football tournament ever.”
