Neymar reacted on social media to recent statements by Rodri, winner of the Ballon d’Or. Vinícius Júnior was considered the favourite to win the award, but it was the Spanish midfielder who took the prize.

«I think he [Vinícius Júnior] is an intelligent boy and with time he will realise that the more he pays attention on the pitch, the better he will be. Athletes are not just what they represent on the pitch, but also off it», stated Rodri, with Neymar commenting on an ironic Instagram page.

«He’s become a talker now», wrote the Al Hilal forward, led by Jorge Jesus, who has been linked with a return to Santos.
