Bellingham apologises: ‘Very disappointing performance and result’

England midfielder thanked Real Madrid fans for their support at Anfield after heavy Champions League defeat to Liverpool

Two days after Real Madrid ‘s defeat to Liverpool in the Champions League (0-2), Jude Bellingham took to social media to thank all the fans who accompanied the team to Anfield for their support and also to apologise.

“Always one step forward and two steps back, at the moment, a very disappointing performance and result, despite being a great opponent. I have to thank and apologise to all the Madrid fans who followed us to England ,” he began by writing, already focusing on the upcoming games.

“There’s no point thinking about what we can’t change anymore, we have to stick together and raise the bar in this next series of important games! Hala Madrid , always,” he concluded.
