Ibrahimovic’s son called up for Sweden U20
Also a striker, Maximilian Ibrahimovic plays for Milan, the team where Zlatan retired.
Just over a year after Zlatan Ibrahimovic retired from football , his son Maximilian has been called up to Sweden’s under-20 squad for the first time. The 18-year-old now plays for AC Milan , the club where his father hung up his boots.
In June of this year, the youngster, who also plays as a center forward, the same position as his father, signed his first professional contract with the Italian team.
— He had a great start at Primavera (Milan’s under-20 team). It’s a good opportunity for us to see him in our environment — Andreas Pettersson, Sweden’s under-20 coach, told Expressen.
An icon of Swedish football after shining at clubs such as Juventus, Inter Milan, PSG, Ajax, Barcelona, Manchester United and Milan, Zlatan Ibrahimovic became an advisor to the club in December.
