THE SHOW IS RELEASED!

After the disappointing Euro 2024, when they were eliminated in the quarter-finals, Germany returned to play in front of their fans in Düsseldorf and cruised past Hungary in the opening match of the current edition of the Nations League. The visitors had a good start to the game, but they watched the Germans put on a show from inside the pitch. With beautiful goals and a great team spirit, the Germans built up a 5-0 win with five different goalscorers: Füllkrug, Musiala, Wirtz, Pavlovic and Havertz all scored past Gulácsi.

VERY EASY!

Germany’s game against Hungary was exactly as the scoreline suggests. With great ease, the team led by Julian Nagelsmann attacked several times in the first half, but only managed to score one goal, with Füllkrug. The number 9 himself and Havertz wasted good chances to extend the lead in the first half.
But the best part of the show was saved for after half-time. Musiala made a great counterattack and passed the ball past Gulacsi to score the second. Shortly after, the number 10 set up Wirtz, who scored the third. With another assist, Musiala passed to Pavlovic, who also finished past the opposing goalkeeper. Finally, Havertz made an individual play, won the penalty and scored with skill to score the fifth.

THE MUSIALA SHOW

The number 10 was supportive when he rolled the ball to Füllkrug to score the first goal, even though he was in a position to score. In the second half, Musiala added his name to the scorers’ list by scoring the second goal of the game. The midfielder also appeared twice with great vision of the game and provided the decisive passes for Wirtz and Pavlovic’s goals.
Musiala was honored before kick-off for finishing as top scorer at Euro 2024. The Germany No. 10 was presented with a painting and a trophy, which were presented by members of the country’s football federation. The tributes appeared to have inspired Musiala, who was directly involved in four of the game’s five goals.
