Stefan Dobrijević is an American professional soccer player of Serbian background who plays as a forward for Austin FC II. Born on October 18, 2003, and raised in Uniontown, Ohio, Dobrijević developed through the Internationals Academy before spending four seasons with the University of Akron and beginning his professional career in the Austin FC organization.
Although Stefan has attracted increasing attention because of his performances on the field, he has kept most of his private life away from public attention. His official University of Akron biography identifies his parents as Danijel and Gordana Dobrijević. However, reliable public sources do not currently identify any siblings, a girlfriend or wife, or children.
Does Stefan Dobrijević Have a Girlfriend?
As of now, Stefan Dobrijević has not publicly confirmed having a girlfriend.
Neither his University of Akron biography nor official information from Austin FC identifies a romantic partner. Public profiles of the forward concentrate mainly on his college career, academic achievements and transition into professional soccer.
For that reason, it would be inaccurate to identify anyone as Stefan Dobrijević’s girlfriend based solely on social-media appearances or unverified online claims.
Is Stefan Dobrijević Married?
There is currently no reliable public information indicating that Stefan Dobrijević is married.
His official college and professional biographies do not mention a wife or marriage. Dobrijević appears to maintain a clear separation between his football career and his romantic life.
Does Stefan Dobrijević Have Children?
As of now, there is no reliable public confirmation that Stefan Dobrijević has children.
None of the authoritative player profiles currently available identify him as a father or mention a son or daughter.
Stefan Dobrijević’s Parents
Stefan Dobrijević is the son of Danijel Dobrijević and Gordana Dobrijević.
The University of Akron officially identifies Danijel and Gordana as Stefan’s parents in his men’s soccer biography, making them the best-confirmed members of his immediate family.
The family raised Stefan in Ohio, where he developed into one of the state’s highly rated youth soccer prospects before joining the University of Akron.
Although the names of his parents are public through his college biography, Stefan has generally avoided discussing their professions or personal lives in media interviews.
Stefan Dobrijević’s Father: Danijel Dobrijević
Danijel Dobrijević is Stefan Dobrijević’s father.
His identity is confirmed by the University of Akron, but there is currently little reliable public information about his professional background or whether he played competitive sports himself.
Stefan has mostly kept discussions of his childhood family outside his public football profile. Consequently, it would be speculative to attribute a specific profession or sporting career to Danijel without additional confirmation.
What can confidently be established is that Danijel was part of the family environment in which Stefan developed from a young soccer player in northeast Ohio into an NCAA Division I athlete and eventually a professional player.
Stefan Dobrijević’s Mother: Gordana Dobrijević
Gordana Dobrijević is Stefan Dobrijević’s mother.
Her name is also explicitly listed in Stefan’s official University of Akron biography.
However, reliable football sources do not provide further information about her occupation or personal background.
There are other people named Gordana Dobrijević who appear in public records and professional biographies, but there is no reliable evidence establishing that any of those individuals are Stefan’s mother. Therefore, they should not be connected to the footballer without direct confirmation.
Stefan Dobrijević’s Serbian Background
Although Stefan was raised in Ohio, his cultural background has strong Serbian connections.
Dobrijević has publicly said that Serbian is his first language and that he began learning English when he was approximately six years old.
He also lists Croatian and English among the languages he speaks.
This multilingual upbringing provides an important part of his background, although reliable sources do not provide enough information to state the exact birthplaces or nationalities of Danijel and Gordana.
It is therefore more accurate to describe Stefan as an American player with a Serbian linguistic and cultural background rather than make unsupported claims about his parents’ places of birth.
Does Stefan Dobrijević Have Siblings?
As of now, there is no reliable public information confirming whether Stefan Dobrijević has brothers or sisters.
His University of Akron biography identifies both of his parents but does not list siblings. Austin FC’s player information similarly provides no details about brothers or sisters.
This does not necessarily mean Stefan is an only child. It simply means that no siblings have been sufficiently documented in reliable public sources.
People who share the Dobrijević surname should therefore not automatically be described as his relatives.

It came less than a year after Austin originally selected him in the MLS SuperDraft.
How Stefan Dobrijević’s Family Fits Into His Career
Unlike some young professional players, Dobrijević has not given extensive interviews describing individual family members or the specific sacrifices they made.
For that reason, it is important not to invent stories about Danijel and Gordana’s role in particular career decisions.
What is known is that Stefan grew up in Uniontown and was able to develop through youth and college soccer in northeast Ohio before moving to Texas to begin his professional career.
His official Akron biography ensures that Danijel and Gordana can confidently be identified as his parents, while the rest of the family’s personal information has largely remained outside the public spotlight.
