TURIN – Juventus are poised to bolster their attacking options this winter following a breakthrough in negotiations for Youssef En-Nesyri. With star striker Dušan Vlahović still sidelined from an injury sustained in 2025 and summer signing Jonathan David struggling to find his rhythm, the Bianconeri have turned to the Moroccan international to lead the line.

According to transfer expert Nicolò Schira, Juventus have reached an advanced verbal agreement with the Fenerbahçe striker, who is reportedly “excited” to join Luciano Spalletti’s project in Turin.

The negotiation, which has progressed rapidly over the last few days, is structured to provide Juventus with immediate reinforcement without a massive upfront commitment:

  • The Structure: A loan deal until the end of the 2025/26 season.
  • The Buy Option: Juventus will have the right to make the move permanent in June for a fee reported to be in the region of €30 million.

En-Nesyri’s arrival is seen as a strategic move by Spalletti to inject physical presence and aerial threat into a front line that has lacked clinical finishing in recent weeks.

Solving the Forward Crisis

The pressure on the Juventus board to act has been immense. While Vlahović is in the final stages of his recovery, the coaching staff remains cautious about rushing him back. Meanwhile, the lack of form from Jonathan David has forced Juve to look for a high-level alternative who can compete for a starting spot immediately.

The Moroccan striker, a proven goalscorer in La Liga and the Turkish league, is expected to travel to Turin within the next few days to undergo medical examinations and finalize the remaining details of his contract.
