Fulham agrees to sell Andreas Pereira to Palmeiras for €10 million, with a guaranteed minimum profit

Andreas Pereira is set to return to Brazil, with Palmeiras finalizing a deal worth around €10 million (R$63.2 million) to sign the midfielder from Fulham, according to journalist André Hernan. The transfer ensures the London club avoids losses, making a small profit on the player they signed from Manchester United in 2022.
Fulham secure minimal profit
Fulham acquired Pereira three years ago for €9.7 million, meaning the current transfer fee represents only a slight gain. Earlier in 2025, Palmeiras had tabled an offer nearly double the current amount, but Fulham rejected it, hoping the Belgian-Brazilian would remain central to Marco Silva’s plans.
However, after losing his place in the squad, Pereira was made available for transfer, clearing the path for Palmeiras to finally land their target.
Palmeiras add another marquee signing
If confirmed, Pereira would become Palmeiras’ fifth most expensive signing ever, joining a record-breaking recruitment drive in 2025. The club has already secured 11 new players, including Vitor Roque (R$156.2m from Barcelona), Paulinho (R$115.8m from Atlético-MG), and Ramón Sosa (R$80.3m from Nottingham Forest).
Pereira’s €10m deal slots him just below Facundo Torres (R$72.9m) in Palmeiras’ all-time transfer rankings.
Decline in form at Fulham
Last season, Pereira struggled to replicate his best years, registering just two goals and five assists in 37 appearances across all competitions his lowest goal tally since 2021 during his loan spell at Lazio.
Out of Fulham’s plans since May, when he featured against his former club Manchester United, the 29-year-old is now preparing for a fresh start in Brazil, where Palmeiras see him as a creative reinforcement for their midfield.
