Chelsea could sell Raheem Sterling to Besiktas in a £20 million transfer

Raheem Sterling’s future at Chelsea looks uncertain, with Besiktas emerging as the frontrunner for a potential £20 million move.

Besiktas Take Pole Position for Sterling Deal

Chelsea are actively looking to part ways with Raheem Sterling, and Turkish giants Besiktas have jumped ahead in the race for his signature, according to CaughtOffside. The Blues have reportedly set their asking price at £20 million (approx. R$146m), with hopes of finalizing a deal before the end of the window.

Premier League & European Interest Growing

While Besiktas are seen as favorites, West Ham, Fulham, and Crystal Palace are also monitoring the situation. A return to another Premier League club could appeal to Sterling, but there’s also significant interest abroad.
In Italy, Juventus and Napoli view the 29-year-old’s pace and experience as valuable assets. Meanwhile, Bayer Leverkusen have also shown interest, with Xabi Alonso keen on adding veteran leadership to one of the Bundesliga’s youngest squads.

Chelsea’s New Signings Push Sterling Out

Sterling’s role at Stamford Bridge has diminished significantly. Following a loan spell at Arsenal, he returned to Chelsea only to face fierce competition from Estêvão and Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, both signed this summer to bolster the wings.
After two Premier League matches, Sterling hasn’t even made the matchday squad — a clear indication that Chelsea’s plans no longer include him.

Departure Imminent?

For Sterling, leaving Chelsea may be the best way to revive his career. Once a star for Manchester City and the England national team, he now finds himself on the periphery at Stamford Bridge. All signs point toward an imminent transfer, with Besiktas in advanced discussions and multiple clubs ready to pounce if talks stall.
