Inter Milan contact Chelsea over Trevoh Chalobah transfer

Inter Milan have approached Chelsea to gather information about Trevoh Chalobah, exploring the possibility of signing the defender in the current transfer window. According to journalist Rudy Galetti (TEAMtalk), the Italian side is considering a loan deal, but any move would depend on the departure of one of Inter’s current centre-backs.
Contract and Market Value
Chalobah, 25, is under contract with Chelsea until June 2028 and is valued at around €25 million. The Blues’ board will now decide whether to open negotiations or keep the academy product for the upcoming season.
Career Path and Recent Seasons
A Chelsea youth graduate, Chalobah had loan spells with Ipswich Town, Huddersfield Town, and Lorient before returning to Stamford Bridge. In 2024/25, he spent time at Crystal Palace, scoring three goals in 14 matches. Last season for Chelsea, he made 24 appearances and provided two assists.
Preseason Involvement
The defender has featured in both of Chelsea’s preseason matches, suggesting manager Enzo Maresca may count on him for 2025/26. However, Inter’s interest could test the Blues’ resolve before the transfer window closes.
