Brazilian striker draws interest after breakout season with Fulham

Leeds United have identified Rodrigo Muniz as one of their top targets for the 2025–26 season, following the striker’s standout campaign with Fulham in the Premier League. After helping Fulham with a surge in goals and pushing for a regular starting position, Muniz has now emerged as a prime candidate for transfer this summer.

Leeds push to secure Brazilian striker

According to UOL, Leeds is prepared to make a serious move for the 23-year-old Brazilian, who is seen as a key piece in the club’s strategy to strengthen their attack ahead of their return to the top flight. The club has not yet submitted an official bid, but internal discussions are ongoing, and a formal offer is expected soon.

Leeds, who recently secured promotion after three seasons outside the Premier League, are actively reinforcing their squad and view Muniz as a long-term solution up front.

Muniz attracting Premier League attention

Muniz had a breakout year with Fulham, finishing among the club’s top scorers and significantly boosting his market value. His physical presence, pressing style, and improved finishing have drawn attention from several top-flight clubs.

Earlier in the window, Chelsea reportedly showed interest in the forward, but talks did not advance. Leeds now appears to be in pole position.

Reinforcements continue at Leeds

In addition to targeting Muniz, Leeds have already bolstered their roster with several new signings. One of the most notable arrivals is goalkeeper Lucas Perri, who previously played for Botafogo and Olympique Lyonnais. The club is expected to make more signings as it aims to stay competitive in its Premier League comeback campaign.
